Finance : Vitt Sangram

About the Event : Vitt-Sangram is a prestigious finance competition designed to test your financial acumen and determination. Participants will engage in a series of rigorous tests against some of the sharpest minds from B-Schools across the country.

Round 1:  Quiz on Financial Concepts

In this initial round, participants will face a 30-minute quiz consisting of 30 multiple-choice questions (MCQs). The questions will gauge your understanding of financial concepts such as financial statement analysis, ratio analysis, and accounting. Only one member from each team will attempt the quiz.

Round 2: Submission of Equity Research Report

Each team will have to select a public company from the list of public companies we will provide to analyze and produce an equity research report on the public company. The report must have industry analysis, analysis of the company’s business and business prospects, analysis of the financial statements, ratio analysis, projections of financial statements and valuation of the company. The teams must also submit a spreadsheet file containing the calculations used.

Round 3: Presentation of Research and Recommendations

The top eight teams from round 2 will advance to the final round, where they will present their research findings and recommendations to a panel of esteemed judges, comprising faculty members from IIM Udaipur. Teams will need to submit a set of slides for their presentation in advance. Judges will evaluate presentations based on predefined criteria to determine the winners.
