About the event: OpsSamasya is a comprehensive case study-based competition that tests your knowledge of Operations domain. The teams are given a case study where they have to put on their thinking hats to solve real-world problems faced by the industries. The shortlisted teams get an opportunity to present their solutions before the panel, who are leaders in the field of Operations and SCM. Don your hat and show your skills, as rewards await you!

Event Details:

Round 1: 
Online case submission:
  • This round will test the knowledge of the general concepts of operations and supply chain management and the ability to find a solution to an existing problem in the world of Operations and SCM.
  • The case will be launched on 7th October 2021, 22:00:00
  • The case will be released on D2C and the team leader can download the case. Case document will contain the questions to be answered. 
  • Shortlisted teams will proceed to the next round. 
  • List of finalists will be declared on 19th October 2021
  • The submission should be in form of 2-slider PPT.
Round 2: 
Case Presentation:
  • The shortlisted teams will need to perform a deeper analysis and present their PPTs in front of the judges personally (on Zoom). 
  • The PPTs need to be submitted by 27th October 2021
  • The presentations will be held on 29th October 2021
  • Additional instructions regarding the presentations will be communicated via email.

Instructions:

  • Each team must comprise of a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 3 members.
  • Members must be a current student of a 2-year full-time MBA or a full-time Executive MBA.
  • All members of a team should be from the same institute. Cross-year participation is allowed.
  • An institute can have any number of teams participating. However, if a team member is found participating as a part of more than one team, all such teams shall be disqualified. 
  • All information will be shared only with the Team Leader. 
  • Only the first submissions made by teams before the deadlines will be considered for evaluation. All rounds will be conducted online. 
  • Teams who do not adhere to the rules and regulations will be disqualified. 
  • The decision of the organizers will be final and binding in all scenarios.
